Activities:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program.
Provide senior level schedule, dashboard, and reporting support to include integration with multiple divergent external data sources and track actions to closure. Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for Comms including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements, preparing for meetings to include setup and take down of materials, printing, conducting research related to organization, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential. Oversee and report on federal staffing recognition efforts to include coordination and execution. Package final documents for review by senior leadership. Review Cerner deliverables and populate feedback in the system. Check daily priority items based on PMO Planner. Complete ad hoc requests as necessary.
Basic qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Experience coordinating communication and work products across multiple work flows
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline is required
Preferred qualifications:
- VA Experience
- Familiarity with working in a federal government or corporate communication environment
