Activities:

Support the Office of Technical Integration within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) as an IT Project Manager. Acting as a liaison, communicate OEHRM requirements, strategies and plans to VA OIT teams in support of the OEHRM Implementation of Cerner’s Millennium application. Ability to identify schedule risk and conduct critical path analysis with team Risk Manager and other team members. Coordinate with various members assigned to support EHRI related tasks and provide information back to appropriate PMs. Set up and conduct meetings with appropriate task/project members. |
Basic Qualifications:
|
• Minimum of 10 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements • Experience managing Information Technology related projects • Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress • Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline is required
