Job Title: Vista Scheduling Solution Advisor

Activities
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a VistA Scheduling Solution Advisor to serve as overall functional Project Manager. Ensure technical architectures for future state operations are aligned with business goals of Business Operations program implementation. Validate Business Operations capabilities and impacts across VHA using council input and standard framework to develop a business-driven IT roadmap.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
• Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
• Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
• Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
• Able to identify and mitigate risks
• Experience in VistA Revenue Cycle Scheduling and Registration Solutions
• Support all program/project planning and milestone development for a Patient Access Implementation.
• Ability to review Departmental design requirements for workflow validation
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the VA
• Experience implementing VistA Electronic Health Records
• Experience in Patient Access Operations and daily workflows
• Ability to review National Counsel requirements and validate with Current
and Future State workflows
• Experience with VistA Scheduling and Registration build tools
• Experience with interacting with end users
